Brief synopsis in English:

What could connect a Kurd immigrant, a poet and two 80 year old sisters dispensing funeral offerings? What is the association between the woman dancing  in the drycleaners, Michael Cacoyiannis rehearsing Lysistrata and the man watching  life go by behind a window?..Twelve, socially, culturally and ethnically different people share a small street in an underprivileged inner city area of Athens.  They  meet, share and hide from each other daily,  as the boundaries between the  ‘public’ and the ‘private’ remain hazy. The documentary explores the changing nature of neighborhoods in  big cities, through a puzzle of everyday incidents and personal confessions.  Despite  the major socioeconomic changes that Keramikos area undergoes, this street offers a rare example where  a sense of  neighborhood, with all its humane manifestations still exists and where different people find ways to accept each other.
