Brief synopsis in English: Stockholm Syndrome is a psychiatric term that describes a form of bonding between a captive and captor, in which, the captive begins to identify with, even sympathize with, the captor. It is generally considered as a complex reaction to a frightening situation, whilst the relevant symptoms are, insomnia, nightmares, general irritability, difficulty in concentrating, easily startling, feelings of unreality or confusion, inability to enjoy previously pleasurable experiences, increased distrust of others, and flashbacks. Great part of the Greek society developed a pattern, fabricated and detailed by the above characteristics in order to respond to the stress caused by a threatening political situation, while, it still contributes to the maintenance of the existing order, to the docile adjustment to oafish norms, and to the modernization of their substitutes. Hence, in the present video, the Stockholm Syndrome describes a survival mechanism which occurs on a societal level. By mapping one order of reality upon another I return to the origin of a situation, at the beginning of time when any and all conditions are again equally possible, including the one’s unawareness of its incomplete social subsistence, remained attached to its individual trauma.
