Brief synopsis in English:
A universal tale of family, heartbreak, adversity and memory, inspired by filmmaker Natalie
Cunningham's conversations with her ninety-four year old grandmother, Giannoula
Panagiotopoulos. Born in 1918 in the village of Chrisochori, Messinia, Giannoula migrated to
Australia in 1955 with her husband, Fotios. In this short documentary, Giannoula reflects on her
life experiences, both joyful and sad. A heart-warming film about life's simple pleasures.
