A project developed by Cosmocinema, supported by the Hellenic Centre, and realised by the London Greek Film Festival Ltd, will offer the sweetest mix of global influences and state of the art technology while encompassing Greek heritage and culture. London Greek Film Festival is the International Meeting Point for the Greek Moving Image. In addition to the in house screenings and events, the festival will capitalise on digital technology to present an 'online' festival that will showcase the best contemporary talent in film and video based work. The cosmopolitan City of London, is a multicultural metropolis, where different nationalities, professionals, artists, academics, university students, scientists, businessmen and many more, exchange every day life-styles, ideas and culture. The Greek and Greek-Cypriot community is very strong in UK, where about 350,000 living in Greater London. The London metropolitan area is estimated to have a total population of between 12 and 14 million, where Greeks are very popular.
